Alejandro “jando” urquiza

Jando has been in jiu jitsu and trained under Prof Jason for 9 years. In between he took 3 years to learn the dark arts of heel hooks and falling in love with No Gi. He is also Co-owner of Valor Jiu Jitsu.

David “Tofu” zepeda

Black Belt

David has been training Jitsu alongside Jason for 12+ years. He is a fearsome competitor, a great and technical instructor. Tofu started in No gi and kept it going in the gi. He is Co-owner and Head instructor of Valor Jiu Jitsu.

Jason Juatco

The Man the Myth the legend. Jason along with Tofu started in No Gi and soon became part of Paragon Bjj. His attention to detail and knowledge of jiu jitsu is uncanny which makes him a fearsome opponent and master instructor.

At Valor Jiu Jitsu, our team is comprised of dedicated and experienced Jiu Jitsu practitioners who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and empowering students. Each member brings a unique set of skills and expertise, ensuring that our students receive top-notch instruction and support in their martial arts journey.

Kids Program

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is known as the perfect martial art for children because it is a non-striking self-defense martial art system that steers children away from using brute strength and toward using their minds.

Adult Gi Classes

18 years + All Gi Jiu-Jitsu is best as the art and science of control that leads to submission. It is a grappling system that operates through a four-step process: 1 take down 2 pass guard 3 pin and pass 4 submission

Womens Program

Womenʼs Program is an all women’s class. Ladies train with ladies. No boys allowed.

No Gi

No Gi Program is all spats and rashguards. Heel Hooks included. students and competitors are able to move more quickly and freely, and you may find that it is quite difficult to secure meaningful grips on an opponent without the collars and sleeves
